This place is awesome. The only downside is that we don't live here! It's a great getaway. We loved relaxing around the property so much that we only felt the need to go into town for food and liquor.

This place has everything you need before you realize you need it. We're so coming back but staying longer!

We had a wonderful stay here and hate to leave. The cabin's red/black theme adds beautifully to the ambiance of a couple retreat. The DVDs, magazines and all the kitchen and bath aminities were great. It's like home away from home. You may likely see us again.

We were so impressed when we first saw the cabin. It's gorgeous, clean and cozy. Everything smells so clean. The furniture is so comfy and we love the red accents. It was so hot, we didn't spend much time on the porch but we did try the hot tub one early morning.

We want to come back in the fall when the weather turns cooler.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was awesome! We learned alot about the animals from Danny. The weather was perfect even though it rained and stormed a bit. It was really relaxing just to lay in bed and listen to it. I have stayed here the last 2 years in Cabin 1 with my mom and sisters for a girls get away and was really excited to bring my husband here. We will be coming back.

This is a beautiful cabin. We have been here many times but first time in this cabin. Loved it. Last fall we went to Tenn around Pegion Forge and stayed in Black Bear Cabins and they are not any where near as nice as yours, which is why we came back this spring to your cabins. We heard about Cabin on the Hill from some coworkers who had previously been here several times. They raved about Cabin on the Hill and we saw exactly why. Love this cabin! We couldn't believe how nice and neat the cabin was and the price we paid for it when a hotel is nearly the same price and you get noisy visitors and shared hot tub, etc. The Couple Retreat Cabin is just so modern but still has that cozy feel which was perfect for my birthday getaway. We will definitely be back again. We're even thinking about staying with family and or friends in the Luxury Cabin and how cool that would be. Thanks so much for a great place to getaway and celebrate.

I decided back in Jan. that we needed to plan a getaway and found Cabin on the hill while searching for a place. We had never heard of this place before but the pictures and descriptions were wonderful, so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! The Couple Retreat Cabin has been a little slice of heaven on earth for us. We have enjoyed it so much! We both love the country, so this is the perfect setting. Seeing the deer in the pasture was wonderful. This cabin is perfect from the design to the decor. (I love the red) It is so romantic and relaxing here. You did a perfect job of making it a special place. Oh, and thanks for thinking of adding a washer and dryer! Everything was awesome, we will be back and will tell family and friends to visit too. My only complaint, I can't pack this cabin in my luggage and take it with me! I love it!

We loved the screened porch and hot tub plus looking out to see all the turkeys, chickens, and peacocks scurrying about the area. An awesome view! The cabin is beautiful, roomy and extremely clean. Very comfortable place for all four of us. The dogs were quite comfortable here which says a lot for them. It was wonderful to stay in a place where we felt trusted as we didn't feel like we were being watched or smothered.

This place is very special to us. We came here for two years and on our thrid year here I was on the beginning of my fertility shots. Long story short, we only had to do one round of shots and implantation and we were blessed with twins! This has always been our "anniversary" place and now it has become our "family" place! We hope to come here for many years and we were so happy to get to share it with Nana, Papa and Auntie.

We loved it here! We had so much fun! We are such animal lovers, being close to the barn was just right for us. It's nice to find a place like this that is pet friendly. We consider our dogs to be part of the family and wouldn't leave them home for vacation. The fenced area is an extra bonus, they loved running around and watching the birds. We will definately come back and stay at The Little Red Barn. Thanks for such a great place.

Hello all in the "Main House" I went for an early morning run and thouroughly enjoyed the sceenery, deer, the early frost and of course Joe was sitting by the phone pole at the entrance as I headed out. Still there when I got back too!! Beautiful place and thanks for being pet friendly.

The animals are truly delightful. Joe is such a soulful dog. Walked right along with us on the path, joined by a kitty cat along the way. The birds are hilarious and fun to see all the animal personalities. Had a good time. Will likely visit again sometime in the fall when it is a bit cooler.

Had a wonderful time. This was the best first family vacation I could have done with Kali. To see her smiling face when she saw all the animals. Her favorite on the farm is Big Joe. We invited my granny for dinner and she used her scooter to go around and she smiled the entire time. She said it took her back to when she was a child. The fresh eggs were great! Jill and Dan are the best. We plan to book again real soon. We love it here.

We have had a wonderful time, kinda bummed it's our last night here. It has been so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our first evening chat down by the barn with Jill , she's a hoot. Also enjoyed our chat with Dan on our 3rd evening. Very hard working, nice people.

Paul enjoyed making "peacock calls" in the evenings with the peacocks. He actually got real good at it. The farm eggs were a wonderful treat in the mornings too. Even tried a goose egg. The hot tub was great in the evenings , nice way to wind down the day.

Joe came down and spent two evenings with us. Great dog, a gentle giant.

We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day. We will return, probably fall when it's a bit cooler. Not wanting to leave, but the week has been a blast and it's time to return to the "real world". Thanks a bunch Jill and Dan, you have a wonderful place here.

This is only our second stay. We moved to OK after graduating college and we haven't found another Cabin on the Hill! I always till my IL friends about it. We have stayed at other places and I've actually said, "this is no Cabin on the Hill!" It was great to have some relaxing time after running from house to house in IL and IN for Christmas. We want to come back next year. Maybe we can stay 2 nights instead of just one. I feel like we're just settling in and then we have to leave. We enjoy so many things here 0 there's not enough space for me to write! And I write small. I can never get my fill of Cabin on the Hill! Thank you very much for everything.

This was our 4th year in a row celebrating Paul's birthday. We love these cabins. We would like to come back in the spring or fall so we could visit the barn and walk the trails. Every time we are here there is snow! This is the 1st time that we have seen deer in the front yeard. Two of them were eating something on the ground while the snow was coming down.

I hope to visit the farm animals next time. I loved hearing the rooster crow - reminds me of simpler times. Saw 3 deer in the field at dusk.

We've stayed at six cabins so far and your cabin is the coziest! The added amenity of washer & dryer is wonderful. The setting of your cabins is surreal. Thanks for sharing with others this beautiful peice of nautre and creation that God has given you!

We all enjoyed the cabin. It was the prefect get away. Your cats are also cute and the hot tub the hike in the woods is great. Enjoyed the sunset too. We had perfect weather.
