This was a great find.  The place reminded us of the cabin we stayed in on our honeymoon in Gatlinburg.  Very nicely kept here with the comforts of home - without the stress!  Nice job to our hosts!  It was great to come to the cabin, let ourselves in and leave.  We love people but we loved getting away and being alone.  Awesome!

I would recommend staying here!  Stop at Walmart & Kroger and get what you need and DON'T leave the property  for the entire weekend.  We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, sitting on the porch and just enjoying each other without media.  Love the tranquility.  We will be back for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our weekend away from it all.  It is beautiful out here and is very peaceful!  I loved all the animals especially the horses and cats.  The first night we watched 6 deer out front and on Saturday we went horseback riding at Honey Bee Stables.  We walked the Akbash trail and finally got to to meet Joe!  (the big white dog)  While visiting the animals we met the owners and talked with them for almost two hours.  They are very nice!  We finished the day by eating at Giant City Lodge which was very good!!  The cabin is so cozy and has everything you need.  Thanks for a great weekend.

This is our 3rd year coming here.  Our four year old doesn't relish the solace that comes with escaping the everyday world.  So, we're thinking maybe we will came back in the fall and stay at the Couples Retreat Cabin.  But regardless, we enjoyed the get-away and spending family time together.  This has always been a little slice of heaven and we thoroughly enjoy being guests. here.

The cabin was so nice and pretty.  My husband and I picked the perfect time to come here.  Snow was falling down pretty heavy and it was just beautiful to watch with all of the scenery.  We will definitely be back for more trips and will recommend Cabin on the Hill to our friends and family.

We would recommend Cabin on the Hill to all our family and friends.  We loved the Little Red Barn and all the interestig things inside and out.  We tried to figure out some of the items and got 95 percnet of them.  The hot tub was great.

Enjoyed relaxing and doing nothing.  Walked around and saw the animals and wildlife.  Grilled steaks and peacocks came right up to us.  Enjoyed sitting by the fire and reading.  Very homey and cozy feeling.  My favorite was sitting on the front porch and watching the sunset.  Beautiful!  Deer were in the meadow below with the sunset above...amazing.  Who can say thre is not a God moment.  What a blessed weekend we had.  Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us.  It was very, very clean which is so welcoming and homey.  God Bless you.  We would love to bring our family here someday.

So special to see deer right in front of the cabin.  Enjoyed catching up with Jill and Dan. Enjoyed campfires and roasting marsh mellows.  We are so thankful for the chance to come again to Cabin on the Hill.  (our 7th visit)  We love this quiet, relaxing place.  We usually only visit a place one time but this peaceful place has us coming back each year.  This new cabin is so beautiful and comfortable.  It's so nice to be able to have a campfire each night.  We enjoy rocking in the chairs on the porch and walks on the Akbash trail.  We look forward to our visit in the spring or fall of next year.  Our last night after the campfire, we went on the side on the cabin with a flashlight.  We turned it off and looked up at the stars.  What an awesome sight of God's creation!  So enjoyed the deer around 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning and around the same time in the evening.

Coming here is just what we needed.  The cabin was the right size, nice and had everything we needed.  We mostly enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy.  We were sad that we weren't able to have a fire outside due to the rain but the fireplace inside did help.  We do hope to come back and maybe bring our whole family next time.   We really enjoyed our time here.

We found Cabin on the Hill on line while looking for somewhere to go but we also didn't want to drive very far.  Since websites can be deceiving we were not sure what we'd be walking into....but wow!  We loved this place the minute we got here.  The farm is beautiful and the cabin was more than we could ask for.  We can't wait to tell our friends and family about how amazing this place is.  We've already started making plans to come back.  Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

This was an awesome place to stay for a bachelorette party. Very quiet and really pretty! Also really convenient for the wine trails and close to town but far enough out for privacy. This was a great get away. I would definately come back with a different group of friends just to show them how relaxing it is. I loved the animals. I never touched a Turkey before until now. I loved the peacocks, they were so beautiful but fiesty. I fed a pig for the first time and got a little scared because he took half my hand in his mouth but overall it was a nice experience for myself. Thank you.

As always our time at the Cabin went by way too fast. We've been coming here since the Premier Cabin opened and have to plans of stopping as long as we are able to climb the steps. The screened in porch is nice. This was the first time we heart the coyotes. Never heard them anywhere as close as they were here. We always enjoy the cabin. As the years go by we are more and more impatient to get here. We just relax and timeout the world for a few days.

I'm already thinking of when we can come back and we want our friends to see these cabins. We're picturing a fire to curl up next to this winter. We're looking forward to trying the farm fresh eggs and sharing those with Greg's brother when we go home. We're enjoying looking through the books and magazines. Probably the nicest overall weather in the 9 years we've been coming here. Dan and Jill always have things clean and well stocked and are so friendly. They seem like old friends. We've stayed in 3 of their 5 cabins and have never been disappointed. The last morning here...the sounds of the chickens, guineas, ducks and other animals as they awake and the mist hanging over the valley below is a reminder that time moves on. We must begin to prepare for our departure, returning to our everyday lives and responsibilities for another year. But we'll e back, Lord willing, next year for another family get-away...more visiting, eating, hiking, campfires and what ever else we decide to get into.

We were so impressed when we first saw the cabin. It's gorgeous, clean and cozy. Everything smells so clean. The furniture is so comfy and we love the red accents. It was so hot, we didn't spend much time on the porch but we did try the hot tub one early morning.

We want to come back in the fall when the weather turns cooler.
