Wow!  The tree was lit when arrived and looked beautiful.  How nice that Dan & Jill put trees up in the cabins for Christmas.  It made our stay even that much more memorable for the holidays.  They really go out of their way to make their cabins so clean and comfortable.  Can't wait to come back.... maybe when it's warmer so we can explore the farm and woods.  Thanks again for a great Christmas vacation.

We enjoyed the hot tub, blazing campfire and the kitty cats spending time with us around the fire.  Beautiful moon view... it has been an amazing weekend.  My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend get-a-way weekend to share time together and celebrate his 55th b-day.  This is one of our very special places to come and spend time together.

We really enjoyed the barn and all the interesting creatures that live there were great. We enjoyed watching the "roosting in the trees" on a calm fall evening.  Deer in the yard around the cabin as well.  One highlight was the round hot tub.  We really liked how easy it was to move around.  It was a very relaxing time for us.  We shop at Carbondale and to think this out of the way place is so close to that busy town.  Keep up the good work of making special times come true for many people, away from the noise and stress of business life.

We've bee coming to Cabin on the Hill since 2003.  (missed one year due to illness in the family).  We've never been disappointed.  Jill & Danny are great hosts.  We love the farm and the animals.  Please to meet Alvie the little five month old fawn.  He's a sweet heart and so tame.  The cabins are spotless and well maintained.  We've scheduled for next year already.

Very, very impressed!  What a WONDERFUL place.  So clean, quiet and everything we needed was here.  We stayed in a cabin in March in the Smoky Mountains when we got married and I must say this place tops it 110%!  I'm so glad I found this online and we will be back!  So relaxing here, beautiful land and made for a great vacation just two hours from home.  We could not have asked or imagined anything better than what we have here!  We cannot thank you enough for such a beautiful place to stay for a memorable weekend.

This is our 3rd time that we have been here.  Once was around Valentines day and it snowed!  We very cozy by the fire.  First time was several years ago and we have stayed at other cabins, wineries etc. in the area for our getaways.  I have to say the Dan & Jill's Cabin on the Hill is the best maintained and relaxing of all.  This place looks brand new every time we come!  We will be back!

Our kids absolutely loved feeding the animals, especially the goats and cats.  Learning about all the animals and their roles was great.   We all became very fond of the cats Emma and Tom Tom.  We also enjoyed the nightly visits from the peacocks.

Courtney's parents drove from Arkansas (4 hours) to spend a day to celebrate Christmas.  This was the first time in 20 years they did not spend Christmas at their house and they were pleasantly surprised for the experience.  The fireplace was awesome to take the chill off.  Courtney's dad being a big deer hunter spent a lot of time on the porch in awe of the dozens of deer so close to the cabin.  The Christmas tree and touch of decorations was perfect! So many details made it such a nice experience that keeps us coming back time and time again.  This was our daughter's first trip here and needless to say she's already looking forward to the next time.

Every day here was beautiful.  I took over 400 pictures on day #2 and they turned out great!  The trail was flooded by the beavers in one part but it was still gorgeous!  I hope to come back next year.  This place if perfect inside and out!

We just stayed in the Red Barn and it was so neat.  First of all it was the cleanest place I've ever stayed and there was no much cool stuff in it.  We loved just sitting there and looking at all the antiques and neat stuff hanging on the walls.  The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed and more.  My husband really enjoyed sitting on the back patio and watching the deer.  One morning we saw seven baby deer, three bucks and a bunch of does.  It was amazing.  The owners told us that when they feed their peacocks in the morning the deer all come around and eat with them.   The Red Barn is near  their hobby farm so you really get a close up view of the turkeys, chickens and peacocks.   This is the coolest and best place we have ever stayed and we will be telling all of our friends about Cabin on the Hill.  Thank you Danny and Jill for sharing your great place!!  Can't wait to come back.
